Josh and Carissa minister among the people of West Africa. “What an encouragement and a challenge to our hearts to see young men coming from across West Africa to learn how to translate the Word of God into their own languages. Some have already started translation work, others are at the beginning of that journey, but all of them are taking the time to learn from those who have years of translation experience under their belts.

“Each day, two of our field’s more experienced translators worked through different lectures and exercises with the group. Josh got to help with the technical side of things, including programming keyboards for them to use in their various languages.

“I (Carissa) had the joy of working together with the ladies doing food prep and taking care of the kiddos. It was a small role, but I was so happy to be able to help in some way.”
