Wayne and Patsy Gibson minister among the Piapoco people of Colombia. “It is exciting to hear from the Piapocos and their desire to reach out to others. It is great to be in communication with them. We recently heard about the three outreaches to take place this summer by two different teams of Piapoco Bible teachers. Please pray for Reynaldo and three others on the team in the neighbouring country who went to a village where they were invited to teach the Gospel from Creation to Christ. That team plans to also teach in another village in August. Pray for good understanding of the Gospel message in their language.

“Then the upriver Piapoco Team, headed up by Eliezer, will travel to a village that has also asked for teaching. Pray for the team and families on this trip [and] for safety and good health.

“Praise the Lord that Eliezer´s team has been able to reproduce Bible materials to take to the new village. Praise that a Piapoco believer, who Lozano has spent time discipling, will join him on this trip, to be trained to teach. Praise for the Lord’s direction and provision for these trips and for hearts prepared to hear the gospel. Pray for Susana, who continues to teach and disciple Piapoco ladies.

“Wayne has continued to work on Bible commentaries in Piapoco and hopes to begin a Bible study via internet with some of the believers.”
