J and T serve among a people group (whom they refer to as “The People”) in South America. The missionaries, with the help of church leaders Jac and Ben, taught for four weeks to "lay the groundwork” for baptism and to dispel false ideas about baptism that The People had picked up from neighbouring towns and villages. On April 6, twelve believers boldly and publicly proclaimed their faith and were baptized amidst applause from some witnesses and ridicule from others.
“Praise the Lord with us. And keep praying. Still so much to do. So many who still don’t believe in this little village and the surrounding villages.”
