Progress on the Tigak Old Testament

Ned and Linn Beall minister among the Tigak people of Papua New Guinea. “Thank you for praying for Ned’s translation checking. His virtual check went well for the Kaulong people. They were able to get all the translation checked that had been completed. Ned is currently working on checking some Old Testament books for the Lamogai language group. It is such a privilege to be part of preparing more of God’s Word for other language groups.

“Ned is continuing to work on the Tigak Old Testament. He has turned Joshua over to me [Linn] to do the final check before sending it to another translation consultant. We would appreciate your prayers that progress would continue for the Tigak Old Testament.

“In December, the churches in the New Ireland province will be meeting together in [a] Madak [village] to worship together and to encourage each other. This is a special time that all the national churches look forward to each year. Please pray for the church leaders as they work together to plan the teaching lessons for the conference time. We would also appreciate your prayers for the Tigak pastor, Paska, and for his wife, Litia, who is dealing with many health issues. We aren’t exactly sure what is causing the problems, but Paska is having to do a lot of care of her and their family.”
